"Thousands of dollars. Wasted. I hate this industry, it is impossible to make money!" Those were my exact words at the end of yet another futile attempt by me to make go of it network marketing. I was the perfect prospect... corporate airplane salesman, successful stockbroker and a very hard worker. I had the training, the competitive edge and a massive need to make it work. No matter what. But no matter what I did... it didn't work. I tried everything, I stood on the stage and told my story. I let everyone know just how great I had been in the 'real' business world and now I was bringing my success story to network marketing. I carefully constructed my spiel to let people know exactly how lucky they were to be doing business with me.

Network Superstars Only one small problem. It wasn't true. I had been successful in the past but of late, like the last five years, my luck had taken a serious turn for the worse. The real story was that I was fighting for my life. I had been a stockbroker, that was true. But a self serving, manipulative drunk would have been the better term to describe me. I finally got some help on the drinking but it was too late to save a marriage I had wrecked, a career I flushed down the toilet and friendships that had taken a lifetime to cultivate.

I didn't CHOOSE network marketing, it chose me. It was the last house on the block, I had nowhere else to go. And the check... yes it was $7000. But I had spent $3000 on product to qualify the legs to get me there. So it was all a lie. Just like my previous life and lifestyle. I literally stumbled off that stage and out of the building. I somehow ended up in my car with my head on the steering wheel. Praying. I was in exactly the same spot I had The rest is history. I simply switched my focus. I get OBSESSED with the success of my leaders. I learn everything thing I can about them and their lives. I got committed to them hitting their goals. Every day. And you know what? I have seen so many of them hit their goals. Money, time, and great health. They are network marketing success stories. And they are doing the same with their leaders. And inside of that, the business continues to thrive. And it's fun. As for me, I haven't done so bad either. And I am sober today. 19 years. With a great wife and family. Is there anything else in life?

Life crashed down around Jeff Roberti late one evening in 1985 when he learned his dad had died of a heart attack at the age of 46. "I never got the chance to say goodbye," Jeff says. As the oldest son, Jeff knew his mom Alice, and two younger brothers would need him more now than at any other time in their life. And from those dark days, one of the greatest success stories in direct selling began.

"My dad had always worked for someone else, building someone else's wealth," Jeff recalls. "Meanwhile, he struggled to pay his own bills every month." Jeff saw his dad wear that stress and believes it ultimately played a part in his passing away at such an early age. "I decided I was not going to live like that.” Easier said than done!

At the time, Jeff was 24 and working as a waiter, living in a tiny apartment and struggling to make ends meet. He had gone to a junior college for two years but didn't earn a degree. With no education or practical experience, Jeff faced an uphill battle in his desire to make things easier for him and his family. After getting

off work early one night, he stumbled upon an opportunity to start his own direct selling company. "It was a good fit. It was an industry that allowed me to overcome what I was lacking in education, experience and money by channeling my endless desire to succeed and my willingness to learn," Jeff says.

However, shortly after starting his home-base business, Jeff's sponsor quit, leaving him without ateacher to learn the ropes. But rather than lean on hislatest crutch, Jeff got proactive. "I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I was behind on bills. I was behind on my promises to family and friends. So I tore up my list of excuses and moved ahead full speed," he says. Jeff set a goal for himself: By the end of his first year, he wanted to be earning $10,000 a month. He then began the process of trial and error, learning from his mistakes, perfecting his craft, and repeating what worked over and over. He reached his goal of $10,000 within his first month in business. Twelve months later, Jeff was making $100,000 a month. And over the past 18 years, he's averaged over $250,000 a month and earned over $50 million total. "My accomplishments were really beyond my wildest dreams," Jeff recalls. "I went from waiting tables, making maybe $1,000 to $2,000 a month, to being on the brink of making all my dreams come true.” And that meant taking care of his family. "The Bible says find a way to serve many and it will lead to greatness." While Jeff has certainly enjoyed an opulent lifestyle, including a four-story house on the beach with a swimming pool on its roof, he made sure to share that opportunity with his mother and siblings. He helped his older brother, Paul, get his own business off the ground financially and paid for his younger brother, Jonathan's schooling while he earned his Ph.D in psychology.

He also made had everything she could ever want. "I spoil her," Jeff says proudly. He's taken Alice on various trips across the world, including Hawaii and Europe. He even bought her a beach house as well as a house in the mountains and her dream car. "I only have one mom and she deserves it for putting up with me over the years," says Jeff. In addition to helping his family, Jeff continues to travel all around the world helping others become successful with their own home-based businesses.

He estimates he's trained more than one million people in 30 different countries and has helped hundreds of people earn a seven figure income and thousands earn more than a six figure income. "I care more about my people and their results than I do about my own income," he says. Among his many success stories is a single mother of two from Louisiana who now earns twice as much in a month as what she used to earn in a year as a school teacher. Life has been never been a bed of roses for me .After Completing Graduation in 1987 I began working in an Export firm on a salary of only Rs.400/- .But I always had big dreams in mind , so after working for couple of years I started my own export business of Garments which initially was doing good but I was always tense because the business was dependent on many factors which were not in my control.

One day I was introduced to the wonderful world of Network Marketing. I attended a meeting and I was amazed at the lifestyle which people in Network Marketing world wide were leading and India was just opening for this Industry.

“You could have a brain tumor,” my doctor informed me
grimly.
His words shocked and frightened me. I'd been suffering
migraine headaches for over 30 years, but attributed them to
stress--especially the ordeal of selling a business, only to have
the buyers default on payment, forcing my husband and me to
sell our home.

After losing everything, I entered the network marketing
business and successfully began rebuilding our lives by
September 2002, when my doctor insisted that I undergo an
MRI. Thankfully, it was negative. But the physician refused to
renew my prescription for pain medication because I was not
getting any positive results. What was I to do?

Then came the call that changed my life. In October 2002, the
phone rang. “You don't know me,” a man's voice said. “But I
want to tell you about a new company that will be starting. I'd
like you to see our product and company vision.”
Intrigued, I flew to Utah with a friend. When the presenter
opened up a laptop and showed us a picture of a mangosteen
fruit, my Filipino friend became excited. “Mangut!” she
exclaimed, then told me that her mother and grandmother had
been healers who believed strongly in the fruit's healing powers.
I met with the owners and cautiously signed up to be a
distributor. Believing that this was going to create a whole new
category for our industry. I also began drinking the juice.
Before this, my cardiologist ran a blood test for high sensitivity
C-reactive protein.

If you score higher than a three, you're
considered to be high-risk for stroke, heart attack and many
other illnesses. I scored a 7.1, which was scary. Imagine my
surprise when I went back in 2003, after just a few months of
drinking the mangosteen juice, and found that my CRP score
had dropped to 0.3, and the past two+ years, has remained at
0.3!

When both my sons realized how I was thriving both physically
and financially thanks to the company, they entered the
business as well. Both were able to buy homes for their families
as a result of the extra income they earned as distributors. But
my greatest satisfaction came in mentoring newcomers to the
business. As a former teacher who once worked in inner city
schools, I enjoyed helping people achieve their maximum
potential. One “student”, however, stands out in my mind
from all others.

Chris is a nurse who owned a home health agency. Working full
time, she was stressed because she didn't have enough time to
spend with her children. Her teenage daughter had dropped
out of high school, pregnant. A physician recommended the
product for the daughter, who had a difficult pregnancy. Chris
also had a son, Gregory, who was misdiagnosed with muscular
dystrophy. He'd begun suffering such severe tremors in his
hands and legs that if he fell down, he couldn't get up without
help.

Gregory began sneaking his sister's product out of the
refrigerator and drinking it. One day, he put his arms on the
dinner table and said, “Mom, look at this.”
The tremors were gone! It turned out that muscular dystrophy
was a misdiagnosis. Instead, he had a neuromuscular disorder
known as Charcot-Marie-Tooth syndrome (CMT). The
condition was so positively affected by the xanthones (super
antioxidants and anti-inflammatories) in the product that
within a month, Gregory's tremors vanished and have not
returned.

Soon I received my second phone call from a stranger. It was
Chris, who told me in a trembling tone that the product had such
a positive effect on her son's tremors and also reduced her
husband's blood pressure. “I need to get this wholesale,” she
said. “What can I do?” I helped her start her own business.
Chris, like so many in the network marketing field, was deeply
moved by the positive effects that a product had on people's
lives. No matter how much money you have, you'd give it all up
to be well. So when you see people you care about who hug you
and thank you for helping them, it's the most rewarding
experience of all.

Fortunately, Chris proved a willing pupil. She wrote down her
goals and made a list of others who might want better health,
went through training and followed up on all of her leads.
Today, she is one of THE most promising leaders. Not only has
she built a successful business that's allowed her to work fewer
hours and spend more time at home with her children, she has
also helped others to improve their health. People like her Uncle
Roy, who had suffered years of chronic back pain before trying
mangosteen juice. Roy even brought his doctor on board. The
doctor said to me one day, “If I didn't see Roy myself, a patient
for over a decade, I wouldn't have believed the difference. I feel
compelled to share this with my patients.” Now he's building a
business, too!

For me, the greatest satisfaction in life has come from seeing the
success of those I've helped especially my family, my friends
and their families. Robert T. Kiyosaki, a prominent network

values of a network marketing business, values that go beyond
just the potential of making a lot of money,” he concluded. “I
finally found a business with a heart.”

Eric Allen is one of those guys who had always

Thoughts become things….

Today you can either laugh ignorantly at those who
believe in Network Marketing……… or get informed
and join them in showing the world a smart way to
Own your life. Ignorance is NOT Bliss, Intelligence is.
We live in a world full of possibility and yet so many
choose to lose to the conditioning imposed upon them
by society and history.

Pain shot through me when I awakened on a cold, steel
gurney. Then fear. Was I dead? Ready to be cut apart
and autopsied, perhaps?

Memories flooded through my mind…floating aloft in
a hot air balloon ride…then the pilot's frantic warning,
moments before the balloon struck and severed highvoltage
power lines. A jolt of electricity seared through
my brain, sending me into convulsions, then darkness. I
soon learned that I had come to in the shower of a
hospital burn unit, where dirt and dead skin had been
scrubbed off my wounds. Miraculously, I had
survived a 9,760-volt electrocution thanks to mouth-tomouth
resuscitation provided by an off-duty National
Guardsman in mid-air. Back in a hospital room after the
shower ordeal, I saw my own feelings of helplessness
reflected in the eyes of my husband, Rod. My despair
quickly turned to frustration, then anger. Why
wouldn't he give me a mirror?

When I finally saw my own image five days after the
accident, I was shocked. My face was redder than rare
meat, swollen beyond recognition. My eyes appeared
as narrow slits—and I was blind in one eye. The
electricity had also seared the hair off one side of my
head and traveled through my body, exiting out my leg,
leaving behind a gaping, festering wound. “My face
would make an awesome mask at our next Halloween
party,” I quipped, struggling for something positive to
say even as I fought back tears. Though never any
beauty queen, I had taken pride in my appearance and
considered myself to be a physically attractive woman.
But now, the face that stared back at me in the mirror
was a hideously deformed stranger!

In the coming months, I endured skin grafts, infections,
and surgery to restore partial vision in my right eye.
Besides physical pain, I endured emotional and
financial trauma. Faced with staggering medical bills
yet unable to work, I was forced to sell my chain of
beauty salons. I won a $1.5 million dollar lawsuit
against the balloon pilot, but was unable to collect a
single penny. I fretted over knowledge that he
continued to endanger lives of other customers. I also
secretly feared that I might never again be able to look
myself in the mirror without cringing at my ownscarred
visage.

In addition, I came back into the network marketing
business, a field I had been involved with in the past
before starting up my beauty salon venture. In just a
few months, I built a down line of hundreds of
distributors—and just as importantly, a network of
friends and supporters. I also joined my husband's
consulting business and soon became chief executive
officer.

My new position enabled me to fulfill my dream:
helping others to attain the success that I had found.
The brilliance of network marketing is that you become
part of a family in which everyone wants you to attain
your goals – and many people are willing and eager to
help you find the path to success. I have also made a
special effort to spend more time with my family since
the accident, valuing every precious moment on this
earth.

God must have been watching over me, I firmly believe.
He sent an angel to save my life and gave me the will to
survive. Fate has a knack for choosing the most
unexpected moment to intervene in our lives. How we
respond to those challenges and opportunities
confronting us will determine our success or
failure—in business and in life. The most valuable
lesson I learned from facing my fears head-on is the
importance of attitude. I see life more clearly now and
can more easily put things into perspective. I am a
kinder, gentler, more forgiving person than I ever was
before the accident.

Granted, I have only partial vision. I cannot see well
enough to drive after dark. I still have scars on my
forehead, though I have learned to cover them with
makeup. My face may not be beautiful, but it reflects
my history. I accept my scars as symbols of the
hardships I have overcome—and of the positive
changes that I have made as a result of overcoming
adversity.

life. I completed my graduation and attained a diploma in
Electrical Engineering.
